The Community Garden program was created in 2013 to teach people how to grow their own food with organic methods. Through their

involvement with the community garden program, participants are taught how to save and make money; they save through growing their food and earn through an opportunity to

sell it at the Farmers’ Market. This program teaches food self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship.
